the nitty gritty

reserve a pup

I want my new family member! What next?
  1. View our sample contract and make sure that you agree to terms https://happybeardschnauzer.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/Sample-Contract.pdf
  2. Fill out our waitlist application.
  3. Let’s set up a time to talk! We want you to fully understand the breed, puppy ownership, and make sure that your questions are answered. We offer lifetime breeder support. We are here for our families and our pups.
  4. Once both parties are in agreement, contract will be signed via Docusign. We ask a non refundable deposit of $300. The remaining balance can be paid at the time of pick up.
Will I receive updates about my pup while I wait for them to be of age to come home?

From the time of deposit, we will send weekly updates of your puppy including videos and photos. Bar holidays, updates are given on Fridays. You may also visit your pup via zoom or in person. Once you have a name picked out, we’ll start calling them by name!

Can I visit my pup in person while I wait?

Absolutely! We ask that we have an appointment set and that the following parameters are in place:

  • To protect our pups from parvo, we ask that you do NOT visit other puppies 24 hours prior
  • We will provide a bleach water bath to step in (this will touch the bottoms of your shoes only)
  • We ask that you use hand sanitizer before visiting your pup (provided)
  • Bring your camera! Enjoy your bonding time with your pup!
Transportation

Fun Fact #1: 90% of our pups go out of state!

Fun Fact #2: We have puppies in every state!

We offer the following options for transport:

  • Flight Nanny- Although we have a network of nannies that we work with, when possible we prefer to flight nanny ourselves. This saves our families money and it’s just more personal this way! Contact us and let’s work together on catering to your needs
  • We’ll drive to you depending on location.
  • You can pick up
  • We can meet halfway
  • NOTE: We DO NOT ground transport unless in our vehicle. A puppy is susceptible to so many deadly diseases, we just don’t feel safe with group transport. We also DO NOT fly cargo as it is very difficult on the pup
Preparing for your pup

As your puppy matures and is getting ready, we will help you get ready for your new family member. Crates, puppy food etc should be purchased NEW (to avoid germs) prior to puppies arrival

Today’s the day! My puppy comes home!

Your pup will come with their food, a puppy package full of information, toys, a blankie with the scent of their siblings and mom, and a pellet litter box. Lifetime support is offered. We love to watch them grow!  (Please note that if transport is by plane, litter box cannot be provided. We will let you know where to purchase pellets prior to pup coming home)

Vetted Pups

Pups are ALWAYS vetted. Your pup will arrive with:

  • Dews removed and tail docked
  • Microchipped
  • Puppy Package
  • Vetted (dewormed, vaccinated, vetted, given a coccidia preventative)
  • 30 days of health insurance that begins the moment you take your pup home (you must activate online)
  • Folder of information, registration papers, etc
  • Lifetime Breeder Support – Ask away! We are here for you and your pup
  • Health Guarantee (See contract)

Does your pup have an Instagram page? Tik Tok ? We’d love to follow them! Let us know and we’ll give them a “shout out” on our Facebook page
