About Our Miniature Schnauzer Program
Miniature Schnauzers are confident, affectionate, intelligent dogs that often do well with families who want a sturdy, engaging companion in a smaller size. At Happy Beard Schnauzers, we focus on raising Miniature Schnauzers with sound temperament, good structure, early socialization, and strong family potential. Our goal is not just to place puppies, but to help each puppy find the right long-term home.
Health, Structure, and OFA Testing
Health testing is an important part of our Miniature Schnauzer program. We use OFA testing and other appropriate screening tools to help guide breeding decisions, with attention to structure, soundness, temperament, and long-term health.
Champion Lines and Family Companions
Our Miniature Schnauzer program includes carefully selected lines with attention to temperament, structure, and health. Pedigree matters, but it is only one part of thoughtful placement. We also consider socialization, personality, family fit, and the long-term support each puppy and family may need.
Is a Miniature Schnauzer Right for Your Family?
Miniature Schnauzers are smart, sturdy, affectionate dogs with big personalities. They can be wonderful family companions, but they still need training, grooming, structure, and consistent expectations. We are happy to talk honestly with families about whether a Miniature Schnauzer fits their lifestyle, household, and long-term plans.
